What is your athletic background?

I’ve been an athlete my whole life. You name it I’ve done it. I was a state swimmer in high school and played USTA Tennis through high school - Top 100 in the state and slowly grew out of it.

How did you fall in love with CrossFit?

I was your typical gym rat after sports faded and “life” started. I love sports that are hard and take hours and hours at practice. I saw the (CrossFit) Games on tv and decided I wanted to try it and haven’t stopped since. Almost 4 years later I still can’t stop.

What is your favorite type of WOD?

My favorite is definitely chippers. I can just move so fast. Each movement is just like I started all over and I’m full of energy.

What is your favorite movement?

No real favorite movement. But Olympic lifting and gymnastics in general are just so fun to me.

Least favorite movement?
By far BURPEES and any running at all are definitely my weakness.
What is the one food you could not live without?

Definitely sweet bread and cake. I need them all the time.

What is your favorite kind of music to workout to?

Hip Hop and anything that’s got a pop feel to it.

What is something people may be surprised to know about you?

I play video games still.

How would you describe your coaching style?

I would say I’m very encouraging, but in your own way. I come off as shy, but I like to know every person’s personality so I can coach and correct you in a way that you will like and understand.

What are your hobbies outside of CrossFit?

As of now CrossFit is my hobby in and out of the box. I want to be a Regional and even a Games athlete in a few years. So I try to stay dedicated at all time. Throw in a video game from time to time and I’m happy. That’s why coaching is so important. I’ve gotten so much better as an athlete through coaching. CrossFit really is my main focus and coaching only completed it.
