My training philosophy:
My training philosophy has definitely changed over the past 5 years. Before, I was very demanding of my body. I thought that endless cardio sessions and counting calories was the answer to feeling good mentally and physically. After suffering through injuries while training for my 5th marathon, I realized that I needed to incorporate more strength training if I wanted to keep running and maintain a healthy strong body. Since experimenting with circuit training, HIIT training, and Crossfit, I have never looked back. I am still able to run injury free and feel more confident knowing that I am taking better care of my body. My training philosophy is doing whatever makes you feel better mentally, physically and spiritually.
Interest/hobbies:
Cooking, reading food magazines, running and eating my way through new cities, hanging with friends and family, drinking wine, newbie to yoga…and loving it.
