In 2012, I earned my certification through the International Sports and Science Association with a specialty in strength and conditioning.  Though I specialize in training athletes, my experiences with clientele over the years has ranged from young high school students to senior citizens.

As a former U.S. Marine, I believe pain is weakness leaving the body.  This is to say that the path to success is achieved through hard work.  The beauty of health and fitness is that everyone is equal no matter the social status nor amount of wealth- everyone starts somewhere.

The road to reaching a fitness goal comes with time, consistency, and hard work.  “If something stands between you and your success, move it. Never be denied.” ~Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.  As a personal trainer, I am simply here to instruct, educate, and motivate.  The client puts in the hard work, but in return feels the satisfaction of  the accomplishments.  As Arnold Schwarzenegger once said, “Strength does not come from winning.  Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”  My clients and I work together as a team to build that strength.

Health and fitness is a huge part of my life.  I am a pre-medical biology student at Queens University of Charlotte with aspirations to earn a doctorate in physical therapy.  Some hobbies of mine include rock climbing, playing the guitar, snowboarding, and volunteering with my church.  Nevertheless, I truly enjoy personal training and I hope that it is transparent in my work at Metro Fitness Club!
