What is your athletic background? Multi-sport high school athlete: Football and Wrestling. Veteran of the US Navy.

What is your favorite type of workout? Least favorite? Anything that involves bodyweight movements I will gravitate towards. But, when I see heavy weight for volume, I know I will be in for a world of hurt.

What is your favorite movement? Least favorite movement? Muscle ups and ring work are so fun; I could play on them all day. The first thing that comes to mind when I see ‘least favorite movement’ is wall balls.

What is the one food you could not live without? Pizza. Duh.

What is your favorite kind of music to workout to? Music fades when I workout, I probably could not care less.

What is something people may be surprised to know about you? Along with sports and fitness, I used to be involved in musical theater.

How would you describe your coaching style? Interactive, entertaining, and simplistic. I react to personalities differently. I do what is most effective for the individual at hand. I think it is essential to be flexible when teaching.

What are your hobbies outside of the gym? I was born by the beach and grew up in the North. Love the saltwater, and when my family would take vacation it would be to the mountains. I grew up skiing and snowboarding and am avid with both.
